On May 8th and May 13th, St. Luke's was pleased to present scholarships totaling $4,000 to graduating high school seniors--two each to graduates of Galt High School and Liberty Ranch High School. These scholarships, given on behalf of the St. Mary's Guild of St. Luke's, support promising young people in our community aspiring to go into a medical field. The funding for these scholarships comes almost entire from the proceeds of our Annual Christmas Bazaar.

Normally, St. Luke's gives out one scholarship for each high school each year. This year, however, we had so many exceptional students apply that our scholarship committee could not settle on only two winners. Thankfully, the continued generous support of the community in our fundraising activities allowed us to give away two additional scholarships. We wish the winners of these scholarships our hearty congratulations, and we wish all the graduates of GHS and LRHS this year our prays and best wishes as they embark on an exciting new chapter of their lives.
